    The Southwest Louisiana Shrine Club will hold a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27 at their building at 105 N. Washington Ave., downtown DeRidder. The cost is $10 per person.

  2. "Soup for the Soul" fundraiser

    The Beauregard Christian Women’s Job Corps will hold “Soup for the Soul - Sowing Seeds of Hope” lunch fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27 at the New Life Baptist Church at 3177 Hwy. 190 West in DeRidder.

    There will be lunch, entertainment, door prizes and a silent auction. 

    Tickets are $12 a person and are available to purchase at the Beauregard Baptist Association, First Baptist Church DeRidder, Curious Cargo and Grace Church.

    Sponsorship opportunities are available. Donations are welcome.

  3. BCOA public meeting

    The Beauregard Council on Aging will hold a Public Hearing at noon Jan. 27 at the BCOA office located at 104 W. Port Street in DeRidder to discuss the goals and objectives that will be included in the agency’s 4-year area plan. This meeting is open for anyone age 18 or older to attend. The 4-year area plan is a comprehensive document that details all of the services that the Council on Aging will provide during FY 2024 - FY 2027. The plan will be submitted to the Governor's Office of Elderly Affairs. Please call 463-6578 and ask for Tina for more details.
