1. What are the hours for the Water Department?

The water department is located inside city hall and is open from 7:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday and Friday 7:00am-noon.

2. What is the minimum water bill?

The minimum residential water bill is $22.12. Usage is from 0-2,000 gallons.

3. How much does it cost to set up a new water account?

A $50.00 water deposit is required. The fee consists of a $40.00 deposit and a $10.00 service fee. The $40.00 deposit is refundable after applied to the final bill.

4. How do I disconnect my water service?

Call the water department at 462-8933 and leave a forwarding address for final bill.

5. When are water bills due?

Water bills are due by the 22nd of each month. Late fees are added on the 23rd.

6. How can I pay my water bill?

Water bills can be paid in the office at 200 South Jefferson Street, online, by mail or at the Kiosk Machine (Jack) located outside city hall. There is no charge for cash or checks. Kiosk credit card payments will be charged a $3.95 fee.
