Vincent Labue

Honored by the citizens of DeRidder to have served on the city council since 1974, Councilman Labue is married to Linda Blankenship and the father of Jared Labue. They have 2 grandchildren: Maria and Vincent Michael. Linda’s father, the late Bob Blankenship was a former Mayor of DeRidder.

Labue is a graduate of DeRidder High School and McNeese State University. He is currently a member of the Sunrise Rotary club. In the past, Councilman Labue served on the Governor’s Louisiana Priorities for the Future committee and the Governor’s Office of Consumer Protection Advisory Board. He has also served as the president of the Beauregard Red Cross and as president of the DeRidder Jaycees.
