The Beauregard Parish Spring Garden Forum will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 at the War Memorial Civic Center, 250 W. 7th Street, DeRidder.
The Beauregard Master Gardeners will present their Annual Garden Forum in anticipation of the 2023 spring growing season.
Topics include:
• School Gardening, Ms. Beth Thomas and Junior Master Gardeners from Rosepine Elementary School
• Improving Garden Soil Naturally, Mr. George Giltner and Mr. Kirk Gillard, Beauregard MGs
• Container Gardening, Ms. Elaine Hicks, Cenla MG
• Landscaping for Wildlife, CC Richmond, LA Dept. Wildlife & Fisheries
• Wind Resistance Trees: Planting and Care, James Burnett Jr., Beauregard MG

The Zoo Zoo’s Baked Potatoes and More food truck will be available in the parking lot for our attendees, and you are welcome to bring your food purchases into the Civic Center.
