C & B Community Organization will present their annual “Juneteenth Celebration” with various events on Saturday, June 17 at Veterans Park.

All proceeds benefit the  annual C & B School Supply Drive.

Events will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

There will be a live DJ throughout the day. There will also be free snow cones for the kids, free hotdogs, ice cream cones and a cake walk starting at 11 a.m.

A soul food cookoff will be between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. There will also be sauce piquant and BBQ cookoffs. The entry fee is $20. Judging will be at 12:30 p.m. and winners will be announced at 1 p.m.

A youth and adult basketball tournament will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. You must pre-register. There is a $10 entry fee. Age divisions are 18U and 19 older.

A dominoes contest is between 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.. You must pre-register. There is a $10 entry fee. Winners will be announced at 5 p.m.

Live entertainment will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. by recording artist, “Lil Runt.”

Vendors are welcome. Set-up starts at 8 a.m. You must pre-register. Entry fee is a school supply donation.
