The Greater Beauregard Chamber of Commerce has announced the 2023 DeRidder Mardi Gras events.
Events will kick off Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Beauregard Parish Fairgrounds.
A gumbo cookoff starts at 7 a.m. with public tasting as well as vendor shopping beginning at 10 a.m. There's free admission.
Lewing DJ Services will be playing music under the pavilion.
The DeRidder Mardi Gras Parade will begin at 5 p.m., with lineup starting at 4 p.m.
The parade route will begin at the 1st Street/Hwy. 171 intersection and will end at Steamboat Bill’s.
