Beauregard Education Link

In an effort to provide post-secondary education opportunities in Beauregard Parish, the City of DeRidder, Beauregard Parish School Board, the Greater Beauregard Chamber of Commerce and the Southwest Louisiana Economic Development Alliance created the Beauregard Education Link in December 2008.

Beauregard Public Transportation

The mission of the Public Transportation program is to improve public transit in all areas of the state so that Louisiana's citizens may enjoy an adequate level of personal mobility regardless of geographical location, physical limitation or economic status.

Certified Local Government

The CLG Program is a preservation partnership between local, state and national governments focused on promoting historic preservation at the grass roots level.

DeRidder Farmers Market

DeRidder Main Street

The Main Street Program is both funded and operated under the umbrella of the City of DeRidder. Patterned after the National Main Street Center's Four Point Approach to economic revitalization, DeRidder's Main Street program is volunteer-driven, with the Main Street Manager working as the coordinator of the restoration efforts.

Keep DeRidder Beautiful

KDB will focus on Litter Prevention, Beautification, Community Improvement and Waste Reduction in the City of DeRidder. Partnerships will be developed through education, participation in programs and activities to improve the physical environment and quality of life in DeRidder.

Playful City USA

KaBoom! has selected DeRidder as a Playful City USA for the cities dedication to play. DeRidder continues to improve opportunities and safe places for children to play throughout the City by engaging community groups and clubs to help clean and maintain the playspaces.

Preserve America

Preserve America is a national initiative in cooperation with the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation.
